What are We
We are the Carleton University Mathematics and Statistics Society. We are registered as an academic society under CUSA and are affiliated with the School of Mathematics and Statistics. We strives to represent and advocate the interests and concerns of Math & Stat students before the university administration, the faculty, and CUSA.Who are We
We are a group of undergraduate students in Math & Stat. We are committed in building an inclusive community where our members are respected and remain inspired during their time at Carleton. Our missions are to brings students and faculty closer together through social and enrichment events, and to provide a platform to students where knowledge and discussion could be exchanged candidly.Where & When are We
We host and run numerous events on the campus of Carleton University during school days through the entire academic year. Majority of our events are located in Herzberg Laboratory. Some highlights include Annual Welcoming Barbecue, Weekly Colloquia Series, Monthly Breakfast Forum, and most important of all, Pi Day celebration.How & Why are We
Becoming a member comes with many benefits, for instance all members are entitled to complementary food at our events, discount price for Books and Merch, and exclusive video recording to our Colloquia Series.
